The Dark Eyes of London is a 1939 English-language Crime Horror movie written by John Argyle, Patrick Kirwan, Walter Summers and Jan Van Lusil. The movie is directed by Walter Summers and produced by John Argyle under the banner of Argyle Film. A series of strange deaths takes place in London. All are accidents but the victims are single men with no family and they all have a link to a life insurance company run by the mysterious Dr. Orloff. Written by Col Needham. The dark eyes of london stars B La Lugosi in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Hugh Williams, Greta Gynt, Edmon Ryan, Wilfred Walter, Alexander Field and Bela Lugosi. The motion picture is based on The Dark Eyes of London by Edgar Wallace. The music was composed by Guy Jones. Cinematography was done by Bryan Langley and editing by Ted Richards. The film has a running time of 76 minutes. It was released on 24th March 1940. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by ABPC.
