The Last Supper is a 2012 Mandarin-language Action History motion picture written and directed by Lu Chuan and produced by Lu Chuan, Qin Hong, Albert Yeung, Teng-kuei Yang, Zhao Xiaowen, Alan Zhang and Gu Guoqing under the banner of Beijing Chuan Films. The story of two warring generals (Liu Bang and Xiang Yu) fighting for control of China at the end of the Qin Dynasty. The last supper features Liu Ye in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Daniel Wu, Chang Chen, Qin Lan, Sha Yi, Nie Yuan and Huo Siyan. The music was composed by Liu Tong. Cinematography was done by Zhang Li and Ma Cheng and editing by Liu Yijia and Cui Liang. The movie has a running time of 110 minutes. It was released on 24th January 2013. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Wild Bunch.
