The Water Horse is a 2007 English-language Adventure Family film written by Robert Nelson Jacobs and Dick King-smith. A lonely boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend. The water horse features Emily Watson in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Alex Etel, Ben Chaplin, David Morrissey, Brian Cox, Bruce Allpress and Geraldine Brophy.
