Tulsi Das is a 1954 hindi-language Drama History movie written by Manmohan Desai, Pandit Madhur and Vishwanath Pande. The movie is directed by Harsukh Jagneshwar Bhatt, Bhalchandra Shukla and Shiv Sahni and produced by Hans Choudhary. Sage Tulsidas faces challenges when he attempts to translate the Holy Ramayan. Tulsi das stars Shashi Kapoor in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Nanda, Mahipal Singh, Raj Kumar, Dulari, Sudesh Sunder and Ramesh Sinha. The music was composed by Madan Mohan. It was released on 1st January 1954. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹1 crore.
