Ustaad is a 1999 Malayalam-language Action Drama film written by Ranjith Balakrishnan and directed by Sibi Malayil and produced by Shaji Kailas and Ranjith Balakrishnan under the banner of Country Talkies. The plot follows Parameshwaran , a soft-spoken businessman, who leads a double life as an underworld don named Ustaad. Ustaad stars Divyaa Unni in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Vineeth, Mohanlal Nair, Saikumar Nair, Indraja, Janardanan and Innocent Vareed Thekkethala. The music was composed by Vidyasagar along with Rajamani. Cinematography was done by Anandakuttan and editing by L. Bhoominathan. The movie has a running time of 165 minutes. It was released on 31st December 1998. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Swargachitra.
