Yaavarum Nalam is a 2009 Tamil-language Horror Mystery film written by Vikram K. Kumar, Vikram Kumar and Abhinav Singh Kashyap. The movie is directed by Vikram K. Kumar and Vikram Kumar and produced by Suresh Balaje, George Pius and Rajesh Sawhney. A story of a family which has a demon possessed TV, which shows the future happenings of the family through a serial named 'Yaavarum Nalam'. Yaavarum nalam features Neetu Chandra, Sachin Khedekar, Deepak Dobriyal, Ravi Babu, Murali Sharma, R Madhavan and Sanjaih Bokaria. The screenplay is written by Vikram Kumar. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, Shankar-ehsaan-loy and Tubby Parik. Cinematography was done by P. C. Sreeram and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The motion picture has a running time of 137 minutes. It was released on 6th March 2009 in Tamil and Hindi languages. The Film was successful at box office. Yaavarum Nalam was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹56 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Big Pictures.
