Sangey Muzhangu is a 1972 Tamil-language Action Drama film directed by P. Neelakantan and produced by S. Ramakrishnan under the banner of Valli Films. Sangey muzhangu stars M. G. Ramachandran in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Lakshmi, T.k. Bhagavathi, Helen Richardson, Jaya Kausalya, S Lakshman Kumar and M.g. Ramachandran. The screenplay is written by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Cinematography was done by V. Ramamoorthy and editing by K. Narayanan. The motion picture has a running time of 156 minutes. It was released on 4th February 1972. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Valli Films. Murugan and his sister, who are orphans, are adopted by a diamond merchant, Dhayalan, after they help him save his diamonds from thieves. Years later, Murugan is framed for Dhayalan's murder.
