About Andal

Andal (community development block) (also spelled Ondal) is an administrative division in Durgapur subdivision of Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Andal and Durgapur police stations serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Andal More and Andal. Dakshin Khanda, Mahira, Kajora, Harishpur, Palashban, Dignala, Andal, Baska, Siduli, Khandra, Ukhra and Dhandadihi are urban areas in this block. The census towns Chak Bankola and Parashkol are both partly in Andal block and partly in Pandabeswar block.
