Benipur (Hindi: ) is a village and census town in Varanasi tehsil of Varanasi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.[1][5] The census town falls under the Benipur gram panchayat.[5] Benipur Census town is about 7 kilometers North-East of Varanasi railway station, 303 kilometers South-East of Lucknow and 14 kilometers North of Banaras Hindu University.Benipur has 1,708 families with a total population of 12,470.
