Chakpikarong is a town and subdivision of Chandel district of Manipur state in northeastern India. It is located 12 km from Sugnu town.The place was inhabited by Anl Naga tribe in historical times. Tuingan and Chapki river meet here. It is an underdeveloped area. It is the home of Yangoupokpi-Lokchao Wildlife Sanctuary, which has an area of 185 km2 (71.4 sq mi).[1] Anal is spoken here. It is a Sino-Tibetan. A total of 14,000 residents of India speak the language, and more people on in Myanmar also speak it. It should not be confused with the Anus language.[2] and thadou kuki dialect
