Chettikulam is a small coastal village in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, India. It is 12km from Kanyakumari on the road connecting Kanyakumari with Thiruchendur. The nearest town is Nagercoil. The Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project has built a large township also known as Anuvijay Township for its employees near the village. Chettikulam is the birthplace of the veteran Congress Party leader and former MLA Mr.N. Soundara Pandian and Soundrarajan from Nagercoil. This village has a telephone exchange, bank , post office and four schools. Including the township, the population is nearly 15,000 people.
