Ajith Kumar fondly known as Thala/ Ultimate star by his fans made his debut as an actor in the film En Veedu En Kanavar (1990). It was not until 1996 he established himself as a romantic hero with the movie Kadhal Kottai which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Ajith at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Bharatamuni Film Awards for Best New Face for Prema Pusthakam which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Ajiths career so far are Kadhal Kottai (1996), Aval Varuvala (1998), Kadhal Mannan (1998), Amarkalam (1999), Vaali (1999), Kandukondain Kandukondain(2000), Citizen (2001), Varalaru (2006), Kireedam (2007), Billa (2007), Mankatha (2011), Yennai Arindhaal (2015), Viswasam (2019), and Nerkonda Parvai (2019) to name a few. Ajith son of P. Subramaniam and Mohini was born on 1 May 1971 in Hyderabad, India. He dropped out of Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in 1986 before completing his higher secondary. Based on the annual earnings of Indian celebrities, he was included in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list three times.
