Amrutham Gamaya is a 1987 Malayalam-language Drama movie written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Hariharan and produced by P. K. R. Pillai under the banner of Shirdhi Sai Creations. Its a classic story about a doctor named Haridas(mohanlal) who lives in own of his emotions and tries to help family of a person (vineeth) who had been killed by himself during ,his collage days. Amrutham gamaya features Thilakan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Parvathy Jayaram, Vineeth, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Captain Raju, Geetha Vasan and Devan Sreenivasan. The music was composed by M. B. Sreenivasan. Cinematography was done by S. C. Padi and editing by M. S. Mani. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Shirdhi Sai Release.
