Bara is a 1980 Kannada-language Drama motion picture written by U. R. Ananthamurthy and directed by M. S. Sathyu and produced by M. S. Sathyu under the banner of M. S. Sathyu Productions. Bara stars Anant Nag, C. R. Simha, Loveleen Madhu, Pankaj Dheer, Veeraj Byakod, Lavlin Madhu and Uma Shivakumar. The music was composed by Mysore Ananthaswamy along with Siddalingaiah. Cinematography was done by Ashok Gunjal and editing by Chakravarthy. The motion picture has a running time of 117 minutes. It was released on 6th March 1980.
