Bones is a 2001 English-language Crime Horror film written by Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe. The movie is directed by Ernest R. Dickerson and Ernest Dickerson and produced by Rupert Harvey, Peter Heller and Lloyd Segan. Over 20 years after his death by a gunshot, Jimmy Bones comes back as a ghost to wreak revenge on those who killed him and to clean up his neighborhood. Bones features Snoop Dogg in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Pam Grier, Khalil Kain, Clifton Powell, Bianca Lawson, Michael T. Weiss and Ricky Harris. The music was composed by Elia Cmiral. Cinematography was done by Flavio Labiano and editing by Michael N. Knue and Stephen Lovejoy. The movie has a running time of 96 minutes. It was released on 24th October 2001 in English,French and Spanish languages. Bones was made on a budget of $16 million and at the box office it grossed only $8 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by New Line Cinema.
