Destroyer is a 2018 English-language Action Crime movie written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The movie is directed by Karyn Kusama and produced by Phil Hay, Matt Manfredi and Fred Berger under the banner of 30West in collaboration with Automatik Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures. Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past. Written by Annapurna Pictures. Destroyer features Nicole Kidman, Sebastian Stan, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Bradley Whitford, Jade Pettyjohn and Peter Mark Vasquez. The music was composed by Theodore Shapiro. Cinematography was done by Julie Kirkwood and editing by Plummy Tucker. The motion picture has a running time of 123 minutes. It was released on 25th December 2018. Destroyer was made on a budget of $9 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Annapurna Pictures.
