Detour is a 1945 English-language Crime Drama motion picture directed by Edgar G. Ulmer and produced by Leon Fromkess under the banner of PRC Pictures. Detour features Tom Neal in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Ann Savage, Claudia Drake, Edmund Macdonald, Tim Ryan, Esther Howard and Pat Gleason. The screenplay is written by Martin Goldsmith which is inspired from Detour: An Extraordinary Tale a 1939 novel by Martin Goldsmith. The music was composed by Leo Erdody. Cinematography was done by Benjamin H. Kline and editing by George McGuire. The motion picture has a running time of 68 minutes.
