Doubles is a 2011 Malayalam-language Drama film written by Sachid Anandan, Sachi Sethu and Sajid-farhad. The movie is directed by Sohan Seenulal and Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar under the banner of Maruti International. Giri (Mammootty) and Gowri (Nadia Moidu) are twin brother and sister. When they were young they lost their parents in an accident.. Doubles stars Sanjay Dutt in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Kangana Ranaut, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aashish Chaudhary, Javed Jaffrey and Mallika Sherawat. The screenplay is written by Tushar Hiranandani. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand. Cinematography was done by Aseem Bajaj and editing by Sanjay Sankla. The motion picture has a running time of 140 minutes. It was released on 14th April 2011. The Film was successful at box office. Doubles was made on a budget of ₹23 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹77 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Reliance Entertainment.
