Freejack is a 1992 English-language Action Crime movie written by Robert Sheckley, Steven Pressfield, Ronald Shusett and Dan Gilroy. The movie is directed by Geoff Murphy and produced by Ronald Shusett and Stuart Oken under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions. Bounty hunters from the future transport a doomed race car driver to New York City in 2009, where his mind will be replaced with that of a dead billionaire. Freejack stars Emilio Estevez in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Mick Jagger, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Banks, David Johansen and Amanda Plummer. The screenplay is written by Steven Pressfield, Ronald Shusett and Dan Gilroy which is inspired from Immortality Inc. by Robert Sheckley. The music was composed by Trevor Jones. Cinematography was done by Amir Mokri and editing by Dennis Virkler. The movie has a running time of 110 minutes. It was released on 17th January 1992.
