Durdesh is a 1983 Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture written by Suraj Sanim and directed by Ambrish Sangal and Ehtesham and produced by Shamim Ahmed under the banner of Friends Films in collaboration with Ehtesham Production. Raju is a second-generation American-Indian who lives with his mother, Shobha, and resents his father.. Durdesh features Shashi Kapoor in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sharmila Tagore, Raj Babbar, Parveen Babi, Nadeem Baig, Bobita Akhter and David Abraham. The screenplay is written by Ehtesham. The music was composed by Usha Khanna along with Golam Hosain Latu. Cinematography was done by K. K. Mahajan and editing by Govind Dalwadi.
