Gimme Shelter is a 2014 English-language Drama movie written and directed by Ron Krauss and Ronald Krauss and produced by Ronald Krauss and Jeff Rice under the banner of Roadside Attractions in collaboration with Day 28 Films. A pregnant teenager flees her abusive mother in search of her father, only to be rejected by her stepmother and forced to survive on the streets until a compassionate stranger offers a hopeful alternative. Gimme shelter features Vanessa Hudgens in the title role along with an ensemble cast including James Earl Jones, Rosario Dawson, St Phanie Szostak, Emily Meade, Ann Dowd and Brendan Fraser. The music was composed by Lafur Arnalds. Cinematography was done by Eric Steven Kirkland and editing by Marie-H l ne Dozo and Mark Sult. The movie has a running time of 101 minutes. It was released on 29th October 2014. The film made a box office gross of $1 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Roadside Attractions.
