Jane Eyre is a 1934 English-language Drama Romance film written by Adele Comandini and directed by Christy Cabanne and produced by Ben Verschleiser under the banner of Monogram Pictures. Jane Eyre is an orphan who was raised by her aunt until she came to Thornfield Hall as governess to the young ward of Edward Rochester. But Jane is attracted by the intelligent and energetic Sir Rochester, a man of almost twice her age. But just when Sir Rochester ms to pay attention to her, he invites the beautiful and wealthy Blanche Ingram to stay at his house. Written by Volker Boehm. Jane eyre features Virginia Bruce, Colin Clive, Beryl Mercer, David Torrence, Aileen Pringle, Edith Fellows and William Wagner. The film is based on Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bront. The music was composed by Mischa Bakaleinikoff along with Abe Meyer. Cinematography was done by Robert Planck and editing by Carl Pierson. The motion picture has a running time of 62 min. It was released on 15th August 1934. The motion picture made a box office gross of $5 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Monogram Pictures.
