Makkala Sainya is a 1980 Kannada-language Drama film written by Visu and D. Rajendra Babu. The movie is directed by Lakshmi and produced by P. R. Govindaraj and B. Doreswamy under the banner of Kalaikoodam. Makkala sainya features Sumithra, Shivaram, Poornam Vishwanathan, Sumitra and Vishnuvardhan Kumar. The music was composed by M. S. Vishwanathan. Cinematography was done by N. Balakrishnan and R. Raghunatha Reddy and editing by N. R. Kittu. The film has a running time of 130 minutes.
