Martial arts of shaolin is a 1981 Chinese-language film written by Si Yeung-ping and directed by Lau Kar-leung and produced by Fu Qi under the banner of Shaw Brothers Studio in collaboration with Pearl River Film. Martial arts of shaolin stars Jet Li, Huang Qiuyan, Hu Jianqiang, Yu Chenghui and Yu Hai. The music was composed by James Wong along with Romeo Diaz and Law Tik. Cinematography was done by Tsao An-sung and editing by Chiu Yan-tat and Chiu Po-lin. The film has a running time of 89 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1981 in Mandarin and Cantonese languages. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Shaw Brothers Studio.
