Murder on the Campus is a 1933 English-language Mystery film written by Andrew Moses and directed by Richard Thorpe and produced by George R. Batcheller. A popular young student finds herself accused of a series of murders that have occurred on the college campus. Her boyfriend, a reporter for the local newspaper, knows she didn't do it, and sets out to prove her innocence and catch the real killer. Murder on the campus stars Shirley Grey, Charles Starrett, J. Farrell Macdonald, Ruth Hall, Dewey Robinson, Maurice Black and Charles Mcavoy. The film is based on The Campanile Murders by Whitman Chambers. Cinematography was done by M.A. Anderson. The film has a running time of 73 minutes. It was released on 27th December 1933. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Chesterfield Pictures.
