Aishwarya, a convent-girl from a wealthy family in the town of Madurai (Tamil Nadu) falls in love with a young motor-mechanic.. Premisthe features Sandhya in the title role along with Sukumar, Bharath Srinivasan, Kadhal Thandapani, S. Krishna Murthy, Arun Kumar, Saranya Nag and Soori in supporting roles. The music was composed by Joshua Sridhar. Cinematography was done by Vijay Milton and editing by G. Sasikumar. It was released on 17th December 2004. The Film was successful at box office. Premisthe was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹10 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by S Pictures.
