Rakshasi is a 2017 Marathi-language Horror Drama film directed by Dnyanesh Zoting and produced by Nilesh Navalakha and Vivek Kajaria under the banner of Navalakha Arts and Holy Basil Productions. The movie is a multi-layered film about a homely mother with two kids fighting for their survival against the titular ghost. A married couple enters into their new home along with their two kids and grandmother. After entering the house they experience some mysterious situations. One day the grandmother invites a Swamiji to their home to solve their problems. In the process of finding the ghost, suddenly the ghost attacks him and kills him. But Swamy creates a power from his death to destroy the ghost. What power he created and how the ghost destroyed is the movie. Written by Sri Santhosh. Rakshasi stars Sharad Kelkar in the title role along with Sai Tamhankar, Vijay Mourya, Umesh Jagtap, Rujuta Deshpande, Gitanjali, Poorna and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Dnyanesh Zoting. The music was composed by Andrew Mackay. Cinematography was done by Mayur Hardas, Rakesh Bhillare and Sayak Bhattacharya and editing by Mayur Hardas and Charu Shree Roy. The motion picture has a running time of 119 minutes.
