Samadhi is a 1972 Hindi-language Action Drama movie written by Mukhram Sharma and directed by Prakash Mehra and produced by Bhagwant Singh and G. L. Khanna under the banner of Sangam Arts International. Lakhan Singh gives his life of a Dacoit and lives a happy life with his wife Champa when his son Jaswant becomes three years old, Champa becomes ill with cancer and circumstances force him to be again a Dacoit. Samadhi stars Dharmendra, Asha Parekh, Jaya Bhaduri, Tun Tun, Abhi Bhattacharya, Leela Mishra and Saigal. The music was composed by R. D. Burman. It was released on 22nd December 1972. The Film was successful at box office. Samadhi was made on a budget of ₹90 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore.
