It is a fictional account of Ashraf Marwan, a high-ranking Egyptian official who became a double agent for both countries and helped achieve peace between the two. The angel features Marwan Kenzari, Toby Kebbell, Lorenzo Ferro, Cecilia Roth, Luis Gnecco, Malena Villa and Enzo Hernán Ludueña. The film is based on The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel by Uri Bar-Joseph. The music was composed by Pinar Toprak. Cinematography was done by Terry Stacey and editing by Danny Rafic.
