The movie is directed by Walter Lang and produced by Charles Brackett. A widow accepts a job as a live-in governess to the King of Siam's children. The king and i features Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Rita Moreno, Martin Benson, Rex Thompson, Terry Saunders and Virginia Ann Lee. The screenplay is written by Ernest Lehman which is inspired from The King and I by Richard Rodgers Oscar Hammerstein II Anna and the King of Siam by Margaret Landon. The music was composed by Richard Rodgers. Cinematography was done by Leon Shamroy and editing by Robert Simpson. The movie has a running time of 133-144 minutes.
