An eccentric, if not charming Southern professor and his crew pose as a classical ensemble in order to rob a casino, all under the nose of his unsuspecting but sharp old landlady. The ladykillers features Tom Hanks, Irma P. Hall, Marlon Wayans, J. K. Simmons, Tzi Ma, Ryan Hurst and Michael Dotson. The screenplay is written by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen which is inspired from The Ladykillers by William Rose. The music was composed by Carter Burwell.
