The Missing Gun is a 2002 Mandarin-language Crime Drama film written by Chuan Lu, Lu Chuan and Based On A Novelette By Fan Yiping. The movie is directed by Chuan Lu and Lu Chuan and produced by Wang Zhonglei. Small-town policeman Ma Shan wakes up one morning to discover that his gun is missing. During his search, things take a sinister turn when his first love turns up dead and the bullet appears to be from his gun. The missing gun features Jiang Wen, Ning Jing, Wu Yujuan, Gang Deng, Nina Huang Fan, Xiaoning Liu and Pan Yong. The movie has a running time of 87 min. It was released on 31st October 2002.
