The Road to El Dorado is a 2000 English-language Animation Adventure movie written by Terry Rossio, Ted Elliott and Karey Kirkpatrick. The movie is directed by Bibo Bergeron, Don Paul and Jeffrey Katzenberg and produced by Brook Breton and Bonne Radford under the banner of DreamWorks Animation. Two swindlers get their hands on a map to the fabled city of gold, El Dorado. The road to el dorado features Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh, Rosie Perez, Armand Assante, Edward James Olmos, Jim Cummings and Elton John. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer along with John Powell. Editing was done by John Carnochan, Dan Molina, Vicki Hiatt and Lynne Sutherland. The film has a running time of 89 minutes. It was released on 31st March 2000. The Road to El Dorado was made on a budget of $95 million and at the box office it grossed only $76 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by DreamWorks Pictures.
