The secret stars Danny Kaye in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Virginia Mayo, Boris Karloff, Fay Bainter, Ann Rutherford, Thurston Hall and Gordon Jones. The screenplay is written by Ken Englund, Everett Freeman and Philip Rapp which is inspired from The Secret Life of Walter Mitty by James Thurber.
