Tyaag is a 1977 Hindi-language Drama Romance movie written by Din Dayal Sharma and directed by Din Dayal Sharma and Desh Mukherjee and produced by N.s. Kabir and Sharmila Tagore. However, over the years this film has gained a cult following and appreciation from audiences in its screening on television. Tyaag stars Rajesh Khanna in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Sharmila Tagore, Prem Chopra, Sulochana Latkar, Master Tito, Asit Kumar Sen and Bindu Desai. The music was composed by Sachin Dev Burman. Cinematography was done by Aloke Dasgupta and editing by B.S. Glaad. It was released on 26th February 1977. However, over the years this film has gained a cult following and appreciation from audiences in its screening on television.
