BIOGRAPHY

Jatin Khanna professionally known as Rajesh Khanna made his debut as an actor in Aakhri Khat (1966). It was in 1967 he got recognized as an actor with the movie Baharon Ke Sapne, Aurat which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Rajesh Kanna was considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Filmfare Awards for Best Actor for Sachaa Jhutha which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Rajesh Khannas career so far are Aakhri Khat (1966), Aradhana (1969), Ittefaq (1969), Khamoshi (1970), Safar (1970), Kati Patang (1970), Dushmun (1971), Anand (1971), Amar Prem (1972), Mere Jeevan Saathi (1972), Bawarchi (1972), Traitor (1973), Aavishkar (1974), and Avtaar (1983) to name a few. Rajesh Khanna son of Lala Hiranand Khanna and Chandrani Khanna was born on 29 December 1942, in Amritsar. He attended St. Sebastians Goan High School. He did his first two years of Bachelor of Arts in Nowrosjee Wadia College in Pune from 1959 to 1961 and later studied in K. C. College, Mumbai.
