Vastupurush is a 2002 Marathi-language movie written by Sumitra Bhave and directed by Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar and produced by Nfdc. Chronicles the life of famous doctor (fictional) through a series of flashbacks, as he is travelling to his native place after decades where it all began in extremely modest circumstances. Vastupurush features Uttara Baokar, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Ravindra Mankani, Atul Kulkarni and Mahesh Elkunchwar. The screenplay is written by Sumitra Bhave. The music was composed by Shrirang Umarani along with and Sunil Sukthankar. Cinematography was done by Sanjay Memane and editing by Sunil Sukthankar, and Neeraj Voralia.
