In ancient days there was a dancer named Kovela. one night lord Panduranga Swamy appeared in her dream and said Iam in the pond in front of temple, bring me out and build a temple(now that pond is infront of temple). So She went to the king and said about her dream. The king also had a same dream last night. Then that king built the temple to Lord Panduranga.So that village name came from dancer Kovela, called as Kovelakuntla That name became as koilkuntla.
