Machhrauli is situated in Jhaijar district which is about 15 km from Jhajjar town.[1] It is in Matenhail sub district. As of 2011 India census, Machhrauli, Jhajjar had a population of 4453 in 796 households. Males (2335) constitute 52.43% of the population and females (2118) 47.56%. Machhrauli has an average literacy (3048) rate of 68.44%, lower than the national average of 74%: male literacy (1782) is 58.46%, and female literacy (1266) is 41.53% of total literates (3048). In Machhrauli, Jhajjar, 12.95% of the population is under 6 years of age (577).
