About Medarmetla ( Medarametla )

Medarametla is a village situated in Prakasam district, It is about 24 kilometers from Ongole and 83 kilometers from Guntur. The village gets irrigation water source from Raallapaadu project. The villagers' main occupation is agriculture cultivation and cattle rearing. The village population is around 4000. The nearest pilgrimage centre is malakonda. God malyadri lakshmi narasimha swamy temple situated here. In 2013 there is panchayat elections for medarametla. TDP candidate loses in the hands of Indian National Congress, YSR Congress Party combined candidate by 8 votes.
