Mekliganj is a city and a municipality in Cooch Behar district in the Indian state of West Bengal.Mekliganj is at 26.35N 88.92E. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mekliganj has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 53%.
