Mulakuzha is a village in Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala. As of 2001 India census, Mulakuzha (Village) had a population of 28570 with 13294 males and 15276 females. It hosts the Sri Dharma Shasta Temple, the ancient Nediyathu Devi Temple, Gandharva Muttam Bhagavati Temple. A mixed population of Hindus, Christians, and Muslims alike, and has so far reported no communal clashes, which is very strange in such a population mix. A canal from the holy river Pampa runs through it.
