Nedumangad is a municipality in Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located around 20km to the north-east of Thiruvananthapuram city on the Thiruvananthapuram Thenmala State Highway. It is an important centre for the commercial trade in pepper and rubber. A wholesale market set up by the Department of Agriculture (with the assistance of the European Union) is also situated there. Nedumangad is located at 836N 7700E / 8.6N 77.0E / 8.6; 77.0. It has an average elevation of 68metres (223feet). It lies 18km from Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum) on the way to Ponmudi hill resort.
