Resubelpara popularly known as Resu, is a town and a municipal board in East Garo Hills district in the state of Meghalaya. It is also the sub-divisional headquarter of East Garo Hills district, Meghalaya. This town is situated alongside the Damring River. As of 2001 India census, Resubelpara. had a population of 17,652. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Resubelpara. has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 66%.
