About Sodam

Sodam is a village and a Mandal in Chittoor district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Near to sodam one of the famous ayyappa swamy temple is there. Subramanyam swamy temple is there near to gargeya river. This place has got its name from a Britisher named Sodam who had done some developments at this place. There are plenty of Mango orchards near this place and people living here are mostly farmers and small traders. There is an international school built up near this village named 'Peepals Groove' which happens to be a reputed one amongst the near by districts.
