Turuvekere is a panchayat town in Tumkur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Turuvekere is located at 1310N 7640E / 13.16N 76.67E / 13.16; 76.67, about 12km, South of the Banasandra railway station. It has an average elevation of 794metres (2604feet).
