BIOGRAPHY

Kristen Carroll Wiig professionally known as Kristen Wiig made her debut as an actor in The Joe Schmo Show (2003). It was in 2011 she gained recognition as an actor with the series Bridesmaids which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Wiig at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career. The iconic films in Wiigs career so far are Knocked Up (2007), Adventureland (2009), Whip It (2009), Paul (2011), Bridesmaids (2011), Girl Most Likely (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), The Skeleton Twins (2014), Welcome to Me (2014), The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015), The Martian (2015), Ghostbusters (2016), Downsizing (2017), Mother! (2017), and Whered You Go, Bernadette (2019) to name a few. Wiig, daughter of Jon Wiig and Laurie, was born on August 22, 1973, in Canandaigua, New York. She attended Nitrauer Elementary School, Manheim Township Middle School, Allendale Columbia School, and graduated from Brighton High School. She then attended the University of Arizona, majoring in art.
