BIOGRAPHY

Michael Kirk Douglas professionally known as Michael Douglas made his debut as an actor in the film Hail, Hero! (1969). It was in 1984 he got recognized as an actor with the movie Romancing the Stone which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Academy Awards for Best Picture for One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Renners career so far are One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (1975), The China Syndrome (1979), Romancing the Stone (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), A Chorus Line (1985), Fatal Attraction (1987), Wall Street (1987), Black Rain (1989), The War of the Roses (1989), Basic Instinct (1992), Falling Down (1993), The American President (1995), The Game (1997), Traffic (2000), Solitary Man (2009), Ant-Man (2015), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019)to name a few. Douglas son of actors Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill was born on September 25, 1944, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He attended The Allen-Stevenson School in New York City, Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts, and The Choate Preparatory School in Wallingford, Connecticut. He then pursued his Bachelors degree in Drama from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduated in the year 1968.
