BIOGRAPHY

Nicolas Kim Coppola professionally known as Nicolas Cage made his debut as an actor in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). It was in 1995 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the movie Leaving Las Vegas which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was Academy Award for Best Actor for Leaving Las Vegas which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Nicolas Cages career so far are Leaving Las Vegas (1995), The Rock (1996), Face/Off (1997), Con Air (1997), Snake Eyes (1998), City of Angels (1998), Adaptation (2002), National Treasure (2004), Lord of War (2005), Ghost Rider (2007), Knowing (2009), Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009), Kick-Ass (2010), The Frozen Ground (2013), Joe (2013), Dog Eat Dog (2016), Mom and Dad (2018), Mandy (2018), and Color Out of Space (2019) to name a few. Cage son of August Coppola, a professor of literature, and Joy Vogelsang, a dancer and choreographer was born on January 7, 1964, in Long Beach, California. He attended Beverly Hills High School and also attended UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
