Aladdin is a 1986 English-language Adventure Fantasy motion picture written by Dardano Sacchetti, Elisa Briganti, Mario Amendola, Bruno Corbucci and Marcello Fondato. The movie is directed by Bruno Corbucci. Updating of the old Aladdin Arabian Nights tale, as a teenager in modern-day Miami finds a magic lantern and out pops a genie, who's been asleep for 200 years and in his gratitude grants the boy several wishes. Aladdin stars Bud Spencer in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Luca Venantini, Janet Agren, Julian Voloshin, Umberto Raho, Raffaele Mottola and Lou Marsh. It was released on 1st April 1987. Aladdin was made on a budget of $28 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
